WHAT IS A
SUB AGENT?
A sub-agent is a person or people you hire to become travel agents under your travel agency.
DO MY SUB AGENTS SIGN A CONTRACT?
Yes, your sub-agents will sign a Gateway Travel contract as well as a contract for your agency, if you choose to branch out with your own brand. We will provide a generic contract for you, if you need.
Do I have to start my own company, or can I join Gateway Travel and still be part of the Sub-Agent program?
We have created this program so you can join as your own company or also with Gateway Travel. They both have the same opportunities and perks. Either works for us!
FAQ
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AGENCY COST AND SUB-AGENT COST?
The agency will pay a monthly fee to be part of the Gateway Travel family. Each additional sub-agent that your agency has will pay the sub-agent fee which is a reduced monthly fee.

CAN ANYONE HAVE A SUB-AGENT?
Currently, only those who have chosen 70% commission or higher in their agent packages are able to have sub-agents.
HOW MUCH COMMISSION SHOULD I PAY MY SUB-AGENTS?
That is between you and your sub-agents. We do not govern how much you pay your sub-agents.
WHAT IF MY SPOUSE WANTS TO WORK WITH ME, DO THEY NEED TO PAY A SUB-AGENT FEE?
No, they do not. However, you will be required to submit a marriage license proving the relationship's validity before your spouse will have access. Read more about working with a spouse here.
WHERE CAN I SIGN-UP FOR THIS PROGRAM?
The sign-up process starts and is located in our "Agent Portal" which is our agent only Gateway Travel website. Once you sign-up with Gateway Travel, you will have access to these features and be able to participate in the Sub-Agent program.
